I thought it would be nice to put up some nice easy to follow lists of all the work that Timothy has done during his career to date. On this page you will find a list of all Timothy's Film Projects. This list covers Timothy's Motion Pictures, TV Movies and Mini Series.
Timothy's Film Projects.
1968 - The Lion in Winter, Timothy played King Phillip II of France. This movie was Timothy's first movie and was a theatrical release. The exteriors of this movie was filmed in Wales, Ireland and France. This project obtained three Academy Awards:-
The Lion in Winter also received four other Academy Award nominations:-
Additionally, The Lion In Winter won the New York Film Critics Award for Best Picture Of The Year 1968 and Anthony Harvey was awarded the Directors Guild of America Award for Best Director for a Feature Film the same year.
1969 - Giochi Particolari aka Le Voyeur, Timothy played Mark. This project was filmed in Italy and it is all in Italian.
1970 - Cromwell, Timothy played Prince Rupert. This movie was a theatrical release. Here are the awards and nominations for this project:-
1970 - Wuthering Heights, Timothy played Heathcliff. The movie was a theatrical release. The exteriors of this project were filmed on the Yorkshire Moors, and at Brimham Rocks near Hammerbridge, Hay Stack and Redshaw Farm at Blubberhouses which is 20 miles from Haworth on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors. This production was Nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Score which was by Michael Legrand.
1971 - Mary, Queen of Scots, Timothy played Lord Henry Darnley. This movie was a theatrical release. This project was filmed at Alnwick Castle, Alnwick, Northumberland, England, UK, Bamburgh Beach, Northumberland, England, UK and Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland, England, UK. Mary, Queen of Scots also won or was nominated for the following awards:-
1975 - Permission To Kill, Timothy played Charles Lord. This movie was a theatrical release. This project was filmed at Gmunden, Upper Austria, Austria
1976 - El Hombre que supo Amar. This project was filmed in Spain at the following locations Granada, Guadalupe, Cáceres, Montilla, Córdoba, Toledo and Úbeda, Jaén. This movie is all in Spanish.
1978 - Sextette, Timothy played Sir Michael Barrington. This was Timothy's first movie in the States and was a theatrical release.
1978 - Centennial, Timothy played Oliver Seccombe. This movie was a TV mini series and this project was filmed at the following locations:-
Timothy's project of Centennial was also nominated at the Golden Globes USA for Best TV Series - Drama and Best TV Actor nomination went to Richard Chamberlain for this production.
1979 - The Flame is Love, Timothy played Marquis de Guaita. This project was a TV movie.
1979 - Agatha, Timothy played Col. Archibald Christie. This movie was a Warner Bros. theatrical release. This project was filmed at the following locations:-

1981 - Channel Solitaire, Timothy played Boy Capel. This project was a Theatrical release.
1981 - Antony and Cleopatra, Timothy played Marc Antony. Note: If you would like to see Timothy performing Shakespeare this is the project that you can purchase on video.
1983 - Jane Eyre, Timothy plays Edward Fairfax Rochester. This movie was made for the BBC.
1984 - Mistral's Daughter, Timothy played Perry Kilkullen. This project was a TV mini series.
1984 - The Master of Ballentrae, Timothy played Col. Francis Burke. This was a TV movie for CBS and this project The Master of Ballantrae has several scenes filmed at the Study in Glen Coe on the old road through the glen. It was also filmed at Eilean Donan Castle. The Glenfinnan scenes in The Master of Ballantrae were recycled footage from the 1948 movie Bonnie Prince Charlie.
1985 - Sins, Timothy played Edmund Junot. This was a mini series for CBS and this project was filmed in the following locations:-
1985 - Florence Nightengale, Timothy played Richard Milnes, and he also provides the narration for this project. This project was a movie for Television.
1985 - The Doctor and the Devils, Timothy played Dr Thomas Rock. This project was a theatrical release.
1986 - Brenda Starr, Timothy played Basil St. John. This movie was a Theatrical release. This project was filmed in Jacksonville, Florida, USA
1987 - The Living Daylights, Timothy played James Bond. This movie was a theatrical release. This project was filmed in the following locations:-
Timothy's project of The Living Daylights won a Golden Screen award in Germany.
1988 - Hawks, Timothy played Guy Bancroft. This movie was a theatrical release. This production was filmed at Charring Cross Hospital in London, Pinewood Studios London and The Netherlands.
1989 - Licence to Kill, Timothy played James Bond. again This movie was a theatrical release. This project was filmed at the following locations:-
1990 - The Kings Whore aka The Kings Mistress aka La Putain du roi. Timothy played King Vittorio Amadeo. This movie was filmed in Italy. This project was nominated for a Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1990 for Axel Corti the writer and director of it.
1991 - The Rocketeer, Timothy played Neville Sinclair. This movie was a Theatrical release. This project was filmed at the following locations:-
1992 - Framed, Timothy played Eddie Myers. This was a mini series for the Arts and Entertainment network. This project was filmed in Spain.
1994 - Lie Down With Lions aka Red Eagle, Timothy played Jack Carver. This project was filmed in Aramon, France and Grand-Duchy, Luxembourg and was shown as a TV movie on Lifetime.
1994 - Naked in New York, Timothy plays Elliot Price. This project at the Deauville Film Festival won and Audience Award for Daniel Algrant, the writer and director of it, and Daniel Algrant was also nominated for the Critics Award.
1994 - Scarlett, Timothy played Rhett Butler. It was a Hallmark Entertainment Production for CBS. This project was filmed in the following locations:-

1996 - Saltwater Moose, Timothy played Lester Parnell. This project was a Showtime, The Movie Network, and The Ontario Film Development Coporation production and was distributed by Hallmark Home Entertainment and Norstar Releasing. This movie was filmed in the following locations:-
Timothy's project of Salt Water Moose won from Directors Guild of America USA the Children's Program Award for director Stuart Margolin.
1997 - The Beautician and the Beast, Timothy played Boris Pochenko. This project was filmed in Los Angeles and Prague, Czech Republic, and was a theatrical release.
1998 - The Informant, Timothy played Chief Inspector Howard Rennie. This was a TV Movie for Showtime and it was filmed in Dublin. This project was nominated at the Venice Film Festival for a Golden Lion for Director Jim McBride.
1998 - Passions Way, Timothy played George Darrow. This project was filmed in Prague, Czech Republic and was a CBS TV Movie.
1999 - Made Men, Timothy played Sheriff Dex. This project was filmed in Provo, Utah, USA and Spanish Fork, Utah, USA and was a Decade Pictures production for HBO.
1999 - Cleopatra, Timothy played Julius Caesar. This project was filmed in Agadir and Quarzazate Morocco, also London England UK and was a Hallmark Entertainment production for the ABC. The following are the awards that this project was nominated for:-
2000 - Time Share aka Bitter Suite, Timothy played Matt. This was a TV movie for the Fox Family Channel in the States although it was released in theatres in Germany. This project was filmed in Malibu, California USA and Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
2000 - Possessed, Timothy played Father William Bowdern. This was a TV Movie for Showtime and was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Jonathan Malen who played Robbie was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie Drama for a Leading Young Actor.
2000 - American Outlaws, Timothy played Allan Pinkerton. This project was made by Morgan Creek Productions and Warner Bros. American Outlaws was filmed in Austin Texas, and was released on the August 17th, 2001 in the States.
2003 - Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Timothy played Damian Drake. This project was made by Warner Bros and released around the world during 2003.
